Who are we?

The Coalition for Social Work and Health is comprised of Organizational and Individual members. To date, our membership includes representation from over 40 social work professional groups, schools, and organizations.

Our work is guided by a Steering Committee comprised of representatives from national organizations that commit to elevating the role of social workers in health and is managed by the Center for Health and Social Care Integration at RUSH.

How do we work together?

We convene monthly in a virtual setting to devise strategies that amplify the impact of social work in transforming healthcare, improving health, and advancing health equity.

Beyond our monthly group gatherings, we leverage our collective knowledge and maximize our influence by supporting the following active committees and ad hoc workgroups:

  • Training & education

  • Policy analysis & advocacy

  • Research & evaluation

  • Communications

  • Conferences & interprofessional engagement
